The annual monsoon rains in early July, mid-August, and late September, 2024 have been resulted in catastrophic flooding and landslide across the Nepal. The torrential downpour on September 27-28, 2024 was one of the heaviest rains that has seen over the past five decades. According to NDRRMA, the total 224 people have been reported dead with 24 people missing and more than 4,000 people rescued (as of October 01, 2024).
