Project Area: Musikot Municipality & Triveni Rural Municipality, Rukum West
The 3-year project (June 2023 – April 2026) aimed to promote socio-economic transformation in Musikot and Triveni through integrated WASH, livelihood, skill development, and entrepreneurship interventions in partnership with CWRD.
1.WASH and Contruction of the Child friendly Taps and Partial support Latrine
- Child-friendly water tap installation and partial latrine support completed in 6 community schools benefitting 1,577 individuals with improved sanitation and access to safe drinking water.
- WASH training conducted for students with hygiene kits distributed to 600 students and first aid boxes distributed to each schools.
Impact: Improved school sanitation facilities, increased hygiene awareness among students, and promoted healthier learning environments
2. Business Entrepreneurship Training
- Entrepreneurship training provided to 158 individuals
- Focused on business skills, financial literacy, and self-employment development among youth, women, and vulnerable groups
Impact: Participants started or expanded small businesses, improving household income and strengthening self-reliance.
3.Income Generation & Skill Development Training
- Pickle making training benefited 27 individuals
- Vegetable drying and storage training benefited 23 individuals
- Chips making training benefited 25 individuals
- Candy making training benefited 27 individuals
- Practical trainings focused on small-scale production and livelihood skills
Impact: Participants gained practical income-generating skills, improved food preservation knowledge, and enhanced household livelihood opportunities.
