Through our Emergency Response program, NCRS provided essential relief support across 19 disaster affected districts. During this year, we reached out 4258 households, 172 individual including the disabled and elderly, 681 children and even a police station delivering critical aid to those impacted by various disasters. This year also has been a privilege for NCRS to contribute meaningfully to the very purpose for which it was founded to stand with communities in times of crisis and help restore hope, dignity, and resilience.
Below is the detailed summary of our Emergency Response support during the last fiscal year.
Flood & Landslide Response
We provided essential relief supplies to 4,039 households and 450 children, helping to restore immediate living conditions and ensure safety, dignity, and stability. In addition, a police station was supported with Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) kits, strengthening local preparedness and emergency response capacity.
Fire Response
A total of 33 households and 19 children affected by fire incidents received necessary household and survival items to rebuild their daily living needs.
Hailstone Response
20 households affected by hailstone damage received partial support, contributing to the repair and restoration of their homes and shelter structures.
Winterization Support
To help vulnerable families cope with extreme cold, 165 households, 212 children, and 173 elderly and persons with disabilities received warm clothing and blankets to ensure protection and comfort.
Thunderstorm Response
1 household affected by a thunderstorm incident was supported with essential relief assistance to help restore normal living conditions and bring hope during recovery.
